Privacy Policy

The short version: we collect what we need to take your payment and post your shirt, and nothing else. We never sell your data.

Last updated: 22 September 2026

Who we are

Aposlo is run by Aposlo Studios Ltd, 2 Stanbury Place, Cleobury Mortimer, DY14 8RQ. We are the "data controller" for the personal information described here. Contact: hello@aposlostudios.com.

What we collect and why

  • Order details: your name, email, phone number, delivery address and what you bought. We need these to fulfil your order and deal with any problems (legal basis: performing our contract with you).
  • Payment details: card payments are handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We receive confirmation that you paid, and the amount.
  • Messages: if you email us or use the contact form, we keep the conversation so we can help you (legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering customers).
  • Records for tax: we keep order and payment records for 6 years because UK tax law requires it (legal basis: legal obligation).

We do not send marketing emails unless you have clearly asked for them, and we do not sell or rent your data to anyone.

Who we share it with

Only the companies needed to run the shop, each acting on our instructions:

  • Stripe processes your payment.
  • Printful prints and posts your shirt, so they receive your name, delivery address, phone number and email. Their delivery partners (for example Royal Mail or Evri) receive your name and address.
  • Resend sends our order and delivery emails.
  • Vercel hosts this website.
  • Google (Analytics and Ads) receives anonymous usage data, only if you accepted analytics cookies.
  • Whop (our advertising platform) receives page views and, after a purchase, the order value and the email you gave at checkout, so we can tell which adverts led to sales. Only if you accepted analytics cookies.

Some of these companies are based in, or use servers in, countries outside the UK such as the United States. Where that happens your data is protected by safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK-US Data Bridge or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Order and payment records: 6 years after the end of the tax year of your order. Contact form messages and emails: up to 2 years. Then they are deleted.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict or stop using it, and ask for it in a portable format. Email hello@aposlostudios.com and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, though we'd appreciate the chance to fix it first.

Cookies

This site keeps things minimal:

  • Essential: we store your cookie choice in your browser so we don't ask every visit. When you pay, Stripe's checkout page sets its own essential cookies for security and fraud prevention. These don't need consent.
  • Analytics (only if you choose "Accept all"): Google Analytics, which sets the cookies _ga and _ga_* (lasting up to 2 years) so we can see, in anonymous totals, which pages and shirts are popular and whether the checkout works.
  • Advertising (only if you choose "Accept all"): if we run Google Ads, the Google tag sets _gcl_au (90 days) so we can tell whether an advert led to a sale. We never send Google your name, email or address. The Whop advertising pixel also loads and may set its own cookies to recognise a returning visitor.

We use Google Consent Mode. Until you choose "Accept all", and always if you choose "Essential only", Google's tag runs in a restricted mode: it sets no cookies, stores and reads nothing on your device, and sends Google only basic anonymous signals (such as that a page was viewed) that are not linked to you. You can change your mind at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update this page and the date at the top.
